Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using AudioNeo (audioneo.net), you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please do not use our service.

Service Description

AudioNeo provides free, browser-based audio tools including format conversion, trimming, joining, volume adjustment, speed change, compression, and video-to-audio extraction. All processing occurs locally in your browser using FFmpeg WebAssembly — no server-side file processing is involved.

Usage Rights

You may use AudioNeo for personal and commercial purposes. You retain full ownership and rights to all files you process using our tools. There are no fees, subscriptions, or usage caps.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

The AudioNeo website design, branding, and original code are owned by AudioNeo. The processing libraries used (@ffmpeg/ffmpeg, @ffmpeg/core) are open-source and subject to their respective MIT licenses. You own all output files you generate through the service.

No Warranty

AudioNeo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

Audio processing is performed by software. While we strive for accuracy, output files may not be 100% identical to the input in all edge cases. Always keep a backup of your original files.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudioNeo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of the service.

Since all processing happens in your browser and we never access your files, our liability is inherently limited. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed USD $100.

File Size and Format Limits

Audio tools have a file size limit of 50MB per file. The Video to Audio tool has a limit of 100MB per file. These limits exist because all processing happens in your browser, and large files may exceed available memory. Supported input/output formats are listed on each tool page.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of AudioNeo after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of AudioNeo shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
